Keith Ellison Antifa

High up Democrat official Keith Ellison promoted violent terrorist group Antifa

I recently came across a graphic online that looked like an old communist propaganda flier. It featured the faces of prominent Democrat leaders, such as Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren and Nancy Pelosi, and said, “The New Democratic Party: Bringing Socialism to the World.” The flier also featured the word “Antifa,” and the antifa logo that shaped into the nazi swastika.

Antifa Democrat Party

I have suspected for some time that the Democratic Party appreciated the violent efforts of antifa, an unruly group that has received national attention for wearing black masks, intimidating the public, damaging property and assaulting people. Antifa has even been labeled a “terrorist group” because participants have used violence and intimidation to interrupt political events, such as Trump’s Inauguration on January 20, 2017. The Department of Homeland Security officially labeled Antifa activities as “domestic terrorist violence,” according to documents observed by media outlet POLITICO.

With Kamala Harris continuing to promote protesting in California right after the notorious 2017 Berkeley riots, and Hillary Clinton recently saying “you cannot be civil” with Republicans, it has become obvious that high up Democrat leaders are sending a message of approval to violent groups like Antifa.

While this has all been speculation on my part, I did recently find proof of Democrat admiration for Antifa. On January 3, 2018, Keith Ellison, deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee, tweeted a photo of himself holding a book titled Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook. He said, “At @moonpalacebooks and I just found the book that strike [sic] fear in the heart of @realdonaldtrump.”

Ellison holds the second highest position in the Democratic National Committee, so this does cast a shadow on Democratic leadership. He has received backlash from a number of Republican leaders regarding his support for the violent group, but otherwise there has been very little coverage about his extremist views.

Rose City Antifa, an Antifa group with a large social media following in Portland, OR, supported Ellison’s praise for antifa. They posted his photo and said, “Democratic Congressman Keith Ellison, our first Muslim Congressman, showing respect and solidarity Antifa across America! We are now in Congress!”

The propaganda flier I came across associating the Democrat Party with antifa really is not far fetched.
