I love the photos of Melania Trump in Cairo, Egypt

I am still stunned by the photos of First Lady Melania Trump visiting Cairo, Egypt on October 6, 2018. She looked amazing wearing classic archaeologist-inspired ensemble while standing with the historical pyramids and Sphinx behind her. Her body language showed a bold woman ready to face the world.

What was even more enticing about the photos was general knowledge about Egypt, as well as her background. Trump immigrated to the United States from the communist country Slovenia and has found herself in the highly noted position of First Lady of the United States. She is recognized for being the second immigrant first lady in the history of the United States. Now she is venturing all over the world, including to the Muslim-majority country of Egypt, where she is alone without her husband, has her hair exposed and shares her opinions on issues she is asked about.

Egypt has received increasing criticism over the years for having a diminishing Christian population, cracking down on the LGBTQ and atheist communities, and harboring heinous terrorist attacks.  A bold Melania Trump met Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi and his wife Entissar Mohameed Amer at the Presidential Palace in Cairo, Egypt, Oct 6, 2018, showing a woman does not need a man by her side. Her trip abroad also included visiting Ghana, Malawi and Kenya.

The photos are the best photos I have seen this year. I think they may even be one of the most noteworthy photos of the century!
